How it works

1. Activate Wandering Fumarole's ability so that it becomes a creature.
2. Activate it to switch its power and toughness infinite times to get infinite Construct triggers.
3. Repeat.

By animating Wandering Fumarole with its mana-intensive transformation ability, you unlock the land's hidden zero-cost power-switching activated ability. Because Wandering Fumarole's switch ability costs zero and isn't a mana ability, you can repeatedly activate it to pump Crackdown Construct's power and toughness into the stratosphere. Crackdown Construct notices every single one of these non-mana artifact or creature ability activations, snowballing infinitely large until end of turn.
