How it works
- Activate Kenrith by paying , putting two +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler.
- Activate Crystalline Crawler by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
- Repeat.
This ingenious loop relies on a clever cost reduction and a doubling effect to spin completely out of control. With Biomancer's Familiar discounting creature abilities, Kenrith, the Returned King's green ability only costs {G} to activate, which in turn places two +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler thanks to Shang-Chi, Martial Mentor's replacement effect. You can then peel off just one of those newly minted counters using Crystalline Crawler's mana ability to generate the exact {G} needed to keep the cycle going. Because Shang-Chi doubles the counters placed on every iteration, you rapidly amass infinite colored mana and infinite +1/+1 counters. Once you've achieved this, Kenrith's remaining royal abilities can be spritzed infinitely to draw every card, gain infinite life, and resurrect every creature from all graveyards.
