How it works

1. Activate Solar Array by tapping it, adding and causing the next artifact spell you cast this turn to have sunburst.
2. Activate Filigree Sages by paying , untapping Solar Array.
3. Repeat as desired.
4. Cast any artifact spell, triggering its sunburst ability an infinite number of times, either putting infinite +1/+1 counters on charge counters on the artifact.

This clever loop relies on Solar Array to supply the initial mana and set up the engine, while Filigree Sages steps in to continually untap it. Ordinarily, the Sages' untap ability would be too costly to sustain, but Biomancer's Familiar steps in as the master artisan, discounting that activation cost down to a single blue mana. Because Solar Array taps to produce the exact mana needed to pay for Filigree Sages' reduced ability while simultaneously priming future artifact spells with sunburst, you can cycle this sequence endlessly to generate infinite mana—and ultimately, cast an artifact with infinite counters.
