How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 1, blinking Kalain.
2. When Kalain enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop centers on Emiel the Blessed, whose exile-and-return ability would normally cost a steep three mana, but Biomancer's Familiar steps in to slash that activation cost down to just a single generic mana. With the blink cost so heavily discounted, you can repeatedly exile and return Kalain, Reclusive Painter to the battlefield. Each time Kalain flickers back in, its enters-the-battlefield trigger creates a fresh Treasure token that you immediately crack to produce the exact mana needed to keep Emiel's engine running indefinitely.
