How it works

1. Activate Tawnos's second ability by paying 1, tapping it and sacrificing two artifact tokens, exiling Little Bear from your graveyard and creating a token copy of it that is an artifact in addition to its other types.
2. When the Little Bear token enters, it triggers, untapping Tawnos.
3. Activate Tawnos's first ability by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a copy of the Little Bear token and causing you to mill two cards.
4. When the Little Bear token enters, it triggers, untapping Tawnos.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Little Bear token, adding CC.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This elegant loop turns Tawnos, Solemn Survivor into a recycling engine by constantly reanimating Little Bear from the graveyard with its heavy activation cost paid forward. Once the initial token copy enters and untaps Tawnos, you can use Tawnos's first ability to duplicate that exact token by copying the artifact token it became, fueling the cycle indefinitely. Meanwhile, Ashnod's Altar sits waiting to sacrifice those redundant copies for colorless mana, netting you an endless parade of enter-the-battlefield and death triggers alongside a completely milled-out library.
