How it works

1. If Aminatou has two or more loyalty counters on it, activate Heart of Kiran by removing a loyalty counter from Aminatou, causing Heart of Kiran to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
2. Repeat step 1 until Aminatou has one loyalty counter on it.
3. Activate Aminatou's second loyalty ability by removing a loyalty counter from it, targeting Shepherd of the Clouds.
4. Aminatou is put into your graveyard as a state-based action due to having zero loyalty.
5. Resolve the Aminatou ability, blinking Shepherd of the Clouds.
6. When Shepherd of the Clouds enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Aminatou from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop hinges on a clever cost-substitution: Heart of Kiran lets you drain Aminatou, the Fateshifter's loyalty instead of paying its crew cost, allowing the planeswalker to aggressively fuel the Vehicle while whittling her own counters down to zero. Once Aminatou sacrifices herself to blink Shepherd of the Clouds, the angel's enter-the-battlefield trigger finds Aminatou waiting in the graveyard and pulls her straight back to the battlefield good as new. Because Shepherd of the Clouds returns Aminatou with a fresh stock of loyalty counters, the cycle can immediately resume, leveraging the inherent synergy between planeswalker manipulation and recursive resurrection.
