How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Kithkin Spellduster.
2. When Kithkin Spellduster dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. Thran Vigil triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kithkin Spellduster.
4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble insect-hunter into an endless engine by exploiting the interaction between creature death and counter placement. When you feed Kithkin Spellduster to Viscera Seer, the bird's persist ability brings it right back with a -1/-1 counter, but Thran Vigil immediately swoops in to cancel out that penalty by placing a +1/+1 counter whenever a creature leaves your graveyard on your turn. Because state-based actions naturally cause a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter to annihilate each other, Kithkin Spellduster is left completely clean and ready to be sacrificed all over again, generating an infinite storm of sacrifices, leaves-the-battlefield triggers, and free scry 1 manipulation.
