How it works

1. Gain any amount of life.
2. Trudge Garden triggers, causing you to pay 2 to create a 4/4 Fungus Beast creature token.
3. When the Fungus Beast enters the battlefield, Lunarch Veteran triggers if its on the battlefield.
4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Fungus Beast, adding CC.
5. When the Fungus Beast dies, Luminous Phantom triggers if its on the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Lunarch Veteran // Luminous Phantom trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat from step 2.
