How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Lunarch Veteran triggers twice if it's on the battlefield, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. When the creature tokens die, Luminous Phantom triggers twice if it's on the battlefield, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mite Overseer's Phyrexian Mite activation into an engine that nets you infinite mana and tokens, all thanks to Stridehangar Automaton's ability to double your artifact token creation. As you repeatedly sacrifice your new tokens to Ashnod's Altar to fuel the process, Lunarch Veteran (or its Luminous Phantom back side) sits back and capitalizes on every single entry and departure, padding your life total infinitely along the way.
