How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Lunarch Veteran triggers twice if it's on the battlefield, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. When the creature tokens die, Luminous Phantom triggers twice if it's on the battlefield, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Quina, Qu Gourmet to turn a single token-creation event into a two-for-one engine: when Mite Overseer's ability creates a Phyrexian Mite, Quina ensures you get both the Mite and an extra Frog token instead. You can then feed both newly minted tokens directly into Ashnod's Altar, converting them into enough colorless mana to pay for the Overseer's activation again with mana to spare. Meanwhile, Lunarch Veteran acts as a delightful life-generating heartbeat for the entire assembly, triggering twice whenever your creatures enter the battlefield and twice more when they leave it to meet their fiery end in the Altar.
