How it works

1. Activate Orthion's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, creating five token copies of Reckless Barbarian with haste.
2. Activate the five Reckless Barbarian tokens by sacrificing them, adding ten .
3. When the Reckless Barbarian tokens die, Orthion triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Reckless Barbarian tokens and/or target any other creature.

By leveraging Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink's massive six-mana activation, you can instantly flood the board with five token copies of Reckless Barbarian. Because those tokens are Shamans, Thornbite Staff automatically snaps onto one of them upon entry, granting it a built-in sacrifice outlet and damage-dealing capability. The true magic lies in Thornbite Staff's second ability: whenever those Reckless Barbarians are sacrificed for red mana, their deaths trigger the Staff to untap Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink so you can immediately repeat the entire sequence for an unstoppable loop of infinite mana and endless token duplication.
