How it works

1. Cast Leashling by paying 0.
2. When Leashling enters the battlefield, Garruk's Packleader triggers, causing you to draw a card.
3. Activate Leashling by putting a card from your hand on top of your library, returning Leashling to your hand from the battlefield.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mycosynth Golem into an engine of pure momentum, allowing you to cast Leashling entirely for free thanks to its affinity for artifacts reducing its cost down to zero. Once Leashling enters the battlefield, Garruk's Packleader readily notices the 3-power hound's arrival and rewards you by drawing a card. You can then use Leashling's own activated ability to tuck a card from your hand right back onto your library and bounce itself safely back to your hand, ready to be cast for zero mana all over again.
