How it works

1. Cast Omarthis by paying 1, causing it to enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
2. Activate Together Forever by paying 1, targeting Omarthis.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Omarthis, adding CC.
4. When Omarthis dies, Together Forever triggers, returning Omarthis from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns the colorless scaling of Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate into a self-sustaining engine by leaning on Together Forever to repeatedly rescue the creature from the graveyard after it is sacrificed to Ashnod's Altar. While Honest Rutstein isn't strictly required to execute the baseline loop, its cost reduction helps offset activation expenses, and its entry ability provides handy creature recursion that complements the continuous recycling of your commander. With the mana generated by Ashnod's Altar easily funding Together Forever's activation and the casting of Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate, you can repeat the process indefinitely to trigger endless sacrifices and eventually manifest your entire library.
