How it works

1. Cast Omarthis by paying 0.
2. Omarthis enters and dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness, triggering Mortuary and Weatherlight Compleated.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Omarthis from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Weatherlight Compleated trigger, causing you to put a phyresis counter on it and draw a card, thus drawing Omarthis from your library.
5. Repeat.

This cunning loop transforms Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate—cast for zero mana—into an immediate self-sustaining cycle of birth and rebirth. Because Omarthis hits the graveyard with zero toughness right away, its death triggers both Weatherlight Compleated (which nets you a phyresis counter and draws the card you need) and Mortuary (which neatly tucks Omarthis back onto the top of your library).
