How it works

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Yannik, adding one mana of any color.
  2. Yannik leaves the battlefield, returning Karmic Guide from exile to the battlefield.
  3. Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, returning Yannik from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. Yannik enters the battlefield, exiling Karmic Guide until Yannik leaves the battlefield and distributing two +1/+1 counters among creatures you control.
  5. Repeat.
