How it works

1. Cast Donate by paying 2, giving control of Vilis to an opponent.
2. During that opponent's draw step, they draw a card.
3. Nekusar triggers, dealing 1 damage to the opponent.
4. Vilis triggers, causing the opponent to draw a card.
5. Repeat from step 3 until the opponent loses the game either due to drawing from an empty library, or from having 0 life.

This clever sequence turns an opponent's own draw step into their swift and inevitable undoing by weaponizing the rules of life loss and card draw. By using Donate to hand control of Vilis, Broker of Blood over to your opponent, you establish a parasitic loop where every instance of life loss forces them to draw more cards. Once Nekusar, the Mindrazer steps in to deal damage during their draw step, Vilis sees that loss of life and triggers to force another card draw, which in turn causes Nekusar to deal another point of damage. This self-sustaining cycle will rapidly drain their life total or empty their library entirely, closing out the game in dramatic fashion.
