How it works

  1. Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Tivit.
  2. When Tivit enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to create at least four Treasure tokens.
  3. Activate three Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
  4. Repeat.

This wondrous loop relies on Emiel the Blessed and its mana-activated blink ability to continuously reset Tivit, Seller of Secrets, whose council's dilemma trigger generates an abundance of artifact tokens. Because Bard, King of Dale doubles any tokens that would be created under your control, every single blink of Tivit yields double the Treasure and Clue tokens—producing far more than enough mana when you sacrifice just a portion of those Treasures to pay for Emiel the Blessed's activation cost. The beauty of this transmutation is that Bard, King of Dale's static ability also turns your extra card draws into pairs, transforming the endless artifacts and entry triggers into a fountain of infinite resources for Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage tables alike!
