How it works

1. Cause Axebane Guardian to become an artifact using Silverskin Armor.
2. Activate Axebane Guardian by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Axebane Guardian.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns Axebane Guardian into an absolute powerhouse of a mana producer. Because Silverskin Armor grants the Guardian the artifact type in addition to its creature type, it becomes a valid target for Voltaic Construct's untap ability. By tapping the Guardian for mana—which is fueled by counting itself and any other defenders you control—you generate more than enough energy to pay the Construct's activation cost, leaving you with infinite colored mana and an endlessly refreshed artifact creature ready to repeat the process.
