How it works
- Animate Five Hundred Year Diary using Rise and Shine.
- Activate Five Hundred Year Diary by tapping it, adding for each Clue you control
- Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Five Hundred Year Diary.
- Repeat from step 2.
By overloading Rise and Shine, you transform your entire noncreature artifact setup into active artifact creatures fortified with four +1/+1 counters—crucially turning Five Hundred Year Diary into a creature that can be targeted by Voltaic Construct. Once animated, you tap Five Hundred Year Diary to generate a surge of blue mana based on your Clues, then funnel a portion of that energy right back into Voltaic Construct's ability to untap the Diary. This creates a closed loop that continuously refreshes your mana sources, generating infinite blue mana and infinite untaps.
