How it works

1. Activate Marwyn by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Marwyn.

This elegant loop transforms Marwyn, the Nurturer into an infinite mana engine by exploiting a clever classification shift provided by Mycosynth Lattice. Because Mycosynth Lattice makes all permanents artifacts in addition to their other types, Marwyn is quietly counted as an artifact creature the moment she enters the battlefield. This allows Voltaic Construct to target Marwyn directly with its untap ability, wiping away the activation cost using the green mana generated by Marwyn herself. As the cycle repeats, Marwyn's mana production easily outpaces the {2} required to power Voltaic Construct, yielding boundless colored mana and an arbitrarily large untap loop.
