How it works

1. Activate Millkin by tapping it and milling a card, adding C.
2. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 1, untapping Millikin.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest mana producer into an infinite self-mill engine by leveraging Zirda, the Dawnwaker to completely bypass the activation cost of Voltaic Construct. Because Zirda reduces the cost of non-mana activated abilities by {2} (to a minimum of one mana), the usually prohibitive {2} cost to untap an artifact creature drops to just {1}. This discount allows Millikin—which taps to add {C}—to pay for its own untap while continuously milling your library one card at a time.
