How it works

1. Animate Prismatic Geoscope using The Blackstaff of Waterdeep.
2. Activate Prismatic Geoscope by tapping it, adding at least three mana of any color
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Prismatic Geoscope.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a humble artifact into a mana-printing powerhouse by utilizing The Blackstaff of Waterdeep to animate Prismatic Geoscope into a 4/4 artifact creature. Because the newly animated Geoscope taps for three or more mana thanks to its Domain ability—assuming you control enough basic land types—it easily pays for the untap ability of Voltaic Construct while leaving profit behind. By channeling that leftover mana back into the Construct, you generate an infinite loop of colored mana and untaps for your entire mechanical army.
