How it works

1. Animate Sceptre of Eternal Glory using Xenic Poltergeist.
2. Activate Sceptre of Eternal Glory by tapping it, adding three mana of any color
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Sceptre of Eternal Glory.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever three-card loop turns a humble rock into an endless mana engine by temporarily giving it life. You begin by using Xenic Poltergeist to turn Sceptre of Eternal Glory into an artifact creature, allowing it to bypass normal animation restrictions so it can be targeted by other mechanical tricks. Once it's a creature, you tap Sceptre of Eternal Glory for its enhanced three-mana production (assuming you meet its land-name requirement), which more than pays for the {2} activation cost of Voltaic Construct. The Construct then untaps the Sceptre, leaving you with a net surplus of mana and a freshly readied permanent ready to repeat the process infinitely.
