How it works

1. Animate Nyx Lotus using Xenic Poltergeist.
2. Activate Nyx Lotus by tapping it, adding at least 3
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Nyx Lotus.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By leveraging Xenic Poltergeist, you can turn Nyx Lotus—normally a passive devotion payoff—into a living artifact creature whose mana value justifies its own animation. Once it's a creature, Voltaic Construct steps in to continuously untap it for the low cost of two mana. As long as your devotion yields more mana than the two required to fuel Voltaic Construct's ability, this loop generates an infinite surplus of colored mana.
