How it works

1. Animate Sceptre of Eternal Glory using Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh.
2. Activate Sceptre of Eternal Glory by tapping it, adding three mana of any color
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Sceptre of Eternal Glory.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This brilliant loop turns an ordinary mana rock into a powerhouse by leaning on Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh to animate Sceptre of Eternal Glory into a 4/4 artifact creature. Because of Tezzeret's static cost-reduction ability, the usual two-mana activation cost of Voltaic Construct's untap ability is entirely wiped out, letting you untap the Sceptre for free. Each iteration of tapping Sceptre of Eternal Glory for three mana and untapping it with Voltaic Construct generates a net gain of one mana, effortlessly cycling your way to infinite colored mana in Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
