How it works

1. Animate Five Hundred Year Diary using Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh.
2. Activate Five Hundred Year Diary by tapping it, adding for each Clue you control
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Five Hundred Year Diary.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By using Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh to turn Five Hundred Year Diary into an artifact creature, you set the stage to exploit its mana-producing tap ability. Normally, Voltaic Construct requires two mana to untap an artifact creature, but Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh reduces that activation cost by {2}, making the untap completely free. As long as Five Hundred Year Diary yields at least one blue mana when tapped—which requires you to control a Clue—you can endlessly loop this tap-and-untap cycle to generate infinite blue mana.
