How it works

1. Animate Everflowing Chalice using Katsumasa.
2. Activate Everflowing Chalice by tapping it, adding at least CCC
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Everflowing Chalice.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a modest mana rock into an infinite colorless mana generator by leveraging a clever mechanical bridge. Katsumasa, the Animator does the crucial setup work, transforming your Everflowing Chalice into an artifact creature so it becomes a legal target for active manipulation. Once animated, you can tap the Chalice for enough mana to cover the cost of Voltaic Construct's ability, which immediately untaps the Chalice to do it all over again. As long as Everflowing Chalice has at least three charge counters from its multikicker, this engine creates a surplus of mana each iteration, fueling infinite untaps of your artifact creatures for any subsequent plays.
