Katsumasa, the Animator sets the stage by turning Five Hundred Year Diary into an artifact creature, allowing it to bypass its normal restriction and tap for blue mana scaling with the number of Clues you control. From there, Voltaic Construct steps in to untap the animated Diary for a modest two-mana investment, instantly resetting its tap ability so you can loop the process. Because the mana generated by Five Hundred Year Diary outpaces the cost to untap it with Voltaic Construct (provided you have enough Clues), you easily net infinite blue mana and an arbitrarily large storm or mana pool to seal the game.
