How it works

1. Animate Coveted Jewel using The Blackstaff of Waterdeep.
2. Activate Coveted Jewel by tapping it, adding three mana of any color
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Coveted Jewel.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop transforms a high-value mana rock into a self-sustaining engine by turning Coveted Jewel into an artifact creature via The Blackstaff of Waterdeep. Once animated, tapping the Jewel yields three mana, leaving you plenty of surplus energy to fund Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Because Voltaic Construct targets any artifact creature, it effortlessly untaps the Jewel so you can repeat the process indefinitely for infinite colored mana.
