How it works

1. Animate White Lotus Tile using The Blackstaff of Waterdeep.
2. Activate White Lotus Tile by tapping it, adding at least three mana of any color.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping White Lotus Tile.
4. Repeat from step 2.

To pull off this engine, you first need The Blackstaff of Waterdeep to animate White Lotus Tile, turning the unassuming mana rock into a 4/4 artifact creature that can now be targeted by abilities. Once it's a creature, White Lotus Tile can tap to generate a surge of colored mana based on your shared creature types, easily netting a profit over the generic cost needed to activate Voltaic Construct. That very same Voltaic Construct steps in to untap your newly animated White Lotus Tile, resetting the loop so you can endlessly repeat the process for infinite colored mana.
