How it works

1. Animate Nyx Lotus using Workshop Elders.
2. Activate Nyx Lotus by tapping it, adding at least 3
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Nyx Lotus.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns your devotion into a boundless engine by transforming Nyx Lotus—which naturally enters the battlefield tapped—into an artifact creature via Workshop Elders's beginning of combat trigger. Because Nyx Lotus is now a creature, Voltaic Construct can target it with its ability to untap it for just two mana, leaving you with a surplus each time you tap the Lotus for three or more mana of your chosen color. The synergy is further rounded out by Workshop Elders granting flying to all your artifact creatures, letting your newly animated powerhouse take to the skies once you're done generating infinite mana.
