How it works

1. Animate Five Hundred Year Diary using Karn, the Great Creator.
2. Activate Five Hundred Year Diary by tapping it, adding for each Clue you control
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Five Hundred Year Diary.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By leveraging Karn, the Great Creator’s plus-one ability, we can turn Five Hundred Year Diary into an artifact creature whose mana value powers its transformation into a dynamic mana engine. Tapping the Diary generates blue mana based on the Clues you control, which is then fed directly into Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Because Voltaic Construct's activation cost of two mana is less than the blue mana generated (assuming you control at least three Clues), this loop generates infinite blue mana and infinite untaps for your artifact creatures across Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
