How it works

  1. Activate Brass Infiniscope by tapping it, adding CC and creating a delayed triggered ability.
  2. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Brass Infiniscope.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as desired.
  4. Cast the spell with X in its mana cost, with X being at least 2 if you wish to gain life.
  5. Each instance of Brass Infiniscope's delayed triggered ability triggers, causing you to draw a card and gain half X life, rounded down, for each trigger.
