How it works
- Activate Empowered Autogenerator by tapping it, putting a charge counter on it and adding at least .
- Activate Clock of Omens by tapping Grim Monolith and Soliton, untapping Empowered Autogenerator.
- Activate Soliton by paying , untapping it.
- Activate Grim Monolith's second ability by paying 4, untapping it.
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite mana, you may use it to activate Grim Monolith's other abilities and/or untap any artifact(s) you control.
This ingenious engine transforms exponential growth into an infinite loop by leveraging Empowered Autogenerator to produce massive amounts of colored mana as its charge counters accumulate. Because Grim Monolith stays tapped during your untap step, it and Soliton serve as the perfect sacrificial tapping fodder for Clock of Omens, which effortlessly untaps your growing mana producer. From there, you simply use a sliver of your newly generated resources to fuel Soliton's ability and activate Grim Monolith's untap cost, resetting the entire assembly to repeat the process indefinitely for infinite mana and untaps.
