How it works

1. Animate Empowered Autogenerator using Rise and Shine.
2. Activate Empowered Autogenerator by tapping it, putting a charge counter on it and adding 1 for each charge counter on it.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Empowered Autogenerator.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By turning Empowered Autogenerator into an artifact creature with Rise and Shine, you give it the mechanical foundation it needs to be targeted by Voltaic Construct's untap ability. Once animated, tapping Empowered Autogenerator not only adds a growing pool of mana based on its accumulated charge counters, but that very same tap adds a new charge counter to make future activations even more explosive. You then channel a portion of that generated mana into Voltaic Construct to untap the Autogenerator, resetting the loop and letting you spin the engine infinitely to flood your mana pool.
