How it works

1. Animate Empowered Autogenerator using Cyberdrive Awakener.
2. Activate Empowered Autogenerator by tapping it, putting a charge counter on it and adding 1 for each charge counter on it.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Empowered Autogenerator.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a humble charging artifact into a self-sustaining mana engine. When Cyberdrive Awakener enters the battlefield, it turns your noncreature artifacts—crucially including Empowered Autogenerator—into 4/4 artifact creatures, allowing them to participate in combat and, more importantly, be targeted as creatures. Once animated, Empowered Autogenerator taps to add an escalating amount of mana based on its growing stack of charge counters. You then funnel a portion of that bounty into Voltaic Construct's ability, using its untap effect to ready the Autogenerator for another activation, netting a growing surplus of mana each iteration.
