How it works
- Activate Empowered Autogenerator by tapping it, putting a charge counter on it and adding at least .
- Cast Bring to Life by paying 2, causing Empowered Autogenerator to become a 0/0 artifact creature and putting four +1/+1 counters on it.
- Activate Vigean Graftmage by paying 1, untapping Empowered Autogenerator.
- Activate Empowered Autogenerator by tapping it, putting a charge counter on it and adding at least .
- Repeat from step 3.
This ingenious loop transforms a humble mana rock into a boundless engine of energy and color. First, you use Animating Faerie's "Bring to Life" adventure to awaken Empowered Autogenerator into a creature, loading it with four initial +1/+1 counters so it is ready to be targeted. Once animated, Empowered Autogenerator taps to produce massive amounts of mana while stacking up charge counters, fueling the very activations needed to keep the chain going. That is where Vigean Graftmage steps in, providing the vital untap ability that exploits those counters to reset the artifact over and over again. By filtering the generated mana through Vigean Graftmage's activation cost, you are left with as much colored mana and as many charge counters as your heart desires.
