How it works
- Activate Empowered Autogenerator by tapping it, putting a charge counter on it and adding one mana of any color for each charge counter on it.
- Activate Candelabra of Tawnos by paying 2 and tapping it, untapping Empowered Autogenerator and Candelabra of Tawnos as they are lands due to Toph.
- Repeat.
By turning every nontoken artifact into a land, Toph, the First Metalbender completely redefines how Empowered Autogenerator and Candelabra of Tawnos interact on the battlefield. Because the Autogenerator and Candelabra are now lands alongside their artifact types, Candelabra of Tawnos's ability can target them directly to untap them for the cost of two mana. This lets you repeatedly tap Empowered Autogenerator to generate escalating amounts of colored mana using its growing charge counters, feeding that mana right back into the Candelabra to untap both pieces in a continuous loop.
