How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Liberated Livestock, adding CC.
2. When Liberated Livestock dies, it and Nim Deathmantle triggers.
3. Resolve the Liberated Livestock trigger, creating a 1/1 Cat, a 1/1 Bird, and a 2/4 Ox creature token.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature token, adding CC.
5. Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger from step 2, causing you to pay 4 to return Liberated Livestock from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
6. Repeat.

This infinite loop is gracefully fueled by Ashnod's Altar, which provides the exact four mana needed to satisfy Nim Deathmantle’s resurrection trigger whenever a creature bites the dust. When you feed Liberated Livestock to the Altar, its death triggers a cascade of tokens that not only pad your board with a Cat, Bird, and Ox, but also supply the extra sacrifice fodder required to fund the Deathmantle's return cost. By repeatedly looping Liberated Livestock back from the graveyard and attaching the Deathmantle right back to it, you continuously generate surplus colorless mana off the Altar while drowning your opponents in an endless army of tokens, sacrifice triggers, and entering-the-battlefield effects.
