How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Mnemonic Wall.
4. When Mnemonic Wall and Mystic Sanctuary enter the battlefield, they trigger.
5. Resolve the Mnemonic Wall trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
7. Move to your next turn, drawing Capture of Jingzhou during your draw step.
8. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on continuously recycling your spells to secure an endless sequence of extra turns. You begin by casting Capture of Jingzhou to grab your first extra turn, then deploy Ghostly Flicker to exile and return both Mystic Sanctuary and Mnemonic Wall. The entering Mnemonic Wall retrieves your Ghostly Flicker right back to your hand, while the entering Mystic Sanctuary dips into your graveyard to place Capture of Jingzhou safely back on top of your library where you can draw it on your next turn. Because Mystic Sanctuary conveniently enters untapped when you control three or more other Islands, it immediately helps fund your engine, turning a single pair of blink targets into an unbreakable cage of infinite turns.
