How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Izzet Chronarch.
4. When Izzet Chronarch and Mystic Sanctuary enter the battlefield, they trigger.
5. Resolve the Izzet Chronarch trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
7. Move to your next turn, drawing Temporal Manipulation during your draw step.
8. Repeat.

This cunning sequence locks down the game by chaining infinite turns, fueled entirely by a recursive loop of spells and lands. You cast Temporal Manipulation to steal another turn, then drop Ghostly Flicker to reset your engine by exiling both Mystic Sanctuary and Izzet Chronarch. As these two return to the battlefield, their entry triggers work in tandem: Izzet Chronarch scoops Ghostly Flicker right back out of your graveyard, while Mystic Sanctuary places Temporal Manipulation directly on top of your library just in time for your next draw step.
