How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Zealous Lorecaster.
4. When Zealous Lorecaster and Mystic Sanctuary enter the battlefield, they trigger.
5. Resolve the Zealous Lorecaster trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
7. Move to your next turn, drawing Temporal Manipulation during your draw step.
8. Repeat.

This infinite turn loop is engineered by chaining together recursive spell recovery and land-based manipulation. You begin by casting Temporal Manipulation to secure an extra turn, while Mystic Sanctuary taps to help fund your spells and naturally sets up your upcoming draws. By casting Ghostly Flicker, you target both Mystic Sanctuary and Zealous Lorecaster, exiling and returning them to the battlefield fresh. This lets Zealous Lorecaster trigger to return Ghostly Flicker right back to your hand, while Mystic Sanctuary triggers to place Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard squarely on top of your library, ready to be drawn and cast again on the very next turn.
