How it works

1. Activate a permanent by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying due to Hinata, blinking Possessed Skaab and the permanent tapped for mana in step 1.
3. When Possessed Skaab enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This loop transforms Ghostly Flicker into a self-sustaining engine by letting Hinata, Dawn-Crowned reduce its cost down to a single blue mana, which can be effortlessly paid by tapping a mana-producing permanent. When you cast it, you target both that mana source and Possessed Skaab, blinking them simultaneously and dodging the Skaab's exile-on-death replacement effect. As Possessed Skaab re-enters the battlefield, its triggered ability reaches into your graveyard to fish back the Ghostly Flicker you just cast, readying the entire sequence to repeat indefinitely.
