How it works

  1. Activate a permanent by tapping it, adding at least U mana.
  2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying U mana due to Hinata, blinking Revolutionist and the permanent tapped for mana in step 1.
  3. When Revolutionist enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Hinata, Dawn-Crowned to drastically discount your spells based on how many targets they have, turning Ghostly Flicker into a bargain that costs just a single blue mana when targeting two things you control. By flickering both Revolutionist and a mana-producing permanent at the same time, you create a self-sustaining engine where Revolutionist's entry trigger conveniently fishes Ghostly Flicker right back out of your graveyard to be cast again. Because Revolutionist itself can be cast via its madness ability if ever discarded, the loop seamlessly repeats to generate infinite entry and exit triggers for your permanents, infinite storm, and endless magecraft.
