How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying , blinking Archaeomancer and the mana-producing permanent.
3. When Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker to your hand from your graveyard.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you infinitely recur instants and sorceries by cycling Ghostly Flicker and Archaeomancer in and out of exile, triggering any enters-the-battlefield or magecraft abilities along the way. While the flicker spell handles the core engine, Mindsplice Apparatus quietly works behind the scenes, accumulating oil counters turn after turn to drastically slash the mana cost required to keep the loop going. Because Mindsplice Apparatus makes your spells so cheap to cast, you can easily sustain the repetition, turning a simple two-card creature-and-spell pairing into an endless storm of triggers.
