How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary and Coveted Jewel by tapping them, adding 3.
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Coveted Jewel.
3. When Mystic Sanctuary and Coveted Jewel enter untapped, they trigger.
4. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Resolve the Coveted Jewel trigger, causing you to draw three cards, which will cause you to draw Ghostly Flicker.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop feeds entirely upon itself by pairing Ghostly Flicker with the mana-producing power of Coveted Jewel and the recursion of Mystic Sanctuary. When you cast the spell to blink both permanents, Coveted Jewel supplies the necessary blue mana while Mystic Sanctuary sets the instant right back onto the top of your library. The artifact's own entry trigger then ensures you immediately redraw the spell to keep the cycle going. Because Mystic Sanctuary's ability requires you to control three other Islands to enter untapped, the engine relies on your mana base being properly built to support it, ultimately letting you repeat the process as many times as you desire.
