How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another creature, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Blade of the Bloodchief triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the cycle of life and death into an endless engine of growth and resources by resting Blade of the Bloodchief in the capable hands of Scurry Oak. Whenever you sacrifice a creature to Ashnod's Altar, the Blade triggers to pump the Oak with a +1/+1 counter. That counter in turn triggers the Oak's ability to spawn a fresh 1/1 Squirrel token, which can immediately be fed back into Ashnod's Altar to fuel the next iteration.
