How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing another creature, adding 1.
2. When the creature dies, Blade of the Bloodchief triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Triskelavus.
3. Activate Triskelavus by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Triskelavite artifact creature token.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns Triskelavus into an engine of continuous creation and sacrifice, fueled by its own modular counters. By paying the mana cost to strip a counter from Triskelavus and spawn a Triskelavite token, you set up the fodder needed for Phyrexian Altar to feed that exact mana cost right back to you. Meanwhile, Blade of the Bloodchief watches the sacrifices pile up, placing a +1/+1 counter back onto Triskelavus each time a token dies so the cycle can perpetuate indefinitely.
