How it works

1. Activate Rex using Budoka Gardener's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Rex using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Rex.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns Rex, Cyber-Hound into an unstoppable engine by feeding it activated abilities exiled from graveyards or, in this case, copied from your board state's potential. By absorbing Budoka Gardener's tapping ability, Rex can continuously cheat lands from your hand directly onto the battlefield. From there, Trench Behemoth's ability lets you bounce that very same land right back to your hand to untap Rex, resetting the loop and generating infinite landfall triggers along the way.
