How it works

1. Cast Ancestral Statue by paying 4
2. Oltec Matterweaver triggers, creating three 1/1 Gnome artifact creature tokens.
3. When Ancestral Statue enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing two Gnomes, adding CCCC.
5. Repeat.

This loop relies on an endlessly recurring creature loop to exploit the token-multiplying power of Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. When you cast Ancestral Statue, Oltec Matterweaver triggers, but thanks to Ojer Taq's replacement effect, you get three Gnome artifact creature tokens instead of one. You then use Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice two of those Gnomes for mana, while Ancestral Statue's own entry trigger forces it right back to your hand so you can recast it.
